Getting started

Connect an authorized WhatsApp number, validate a conversation, and prepare your team to use the integration.

Last updated: October 15, 2026

1. Before you begin

You need access to the CRM account where the app is installed, permission to manage the integration, an available connection enabled by your organization, and a WhatsApp number you are authorized to operate. Keep the phone and your computer connected to the internet. If no connection is available, ask your administrator or contact support before proceeding.

2. Installation and service billing

Installing the app from the Marketplace is free. Using the connected messaging service requires a separate external service arrangement with Bridgix. Your offer specifies the price per connected number, included features, any trial, renewal and cancellation terms. A trial is available only when included in your offer. CRM workflow execution charges and other third-party fees may apply separately. Contact contact@bridgix.com.br for activation or billing questions.

3. Install and open the integration

An authorized administrator installs the app from the CRM Marketplace in the intended business account and reviews the requested permissions. After installation, open the WhatsApp menu in that account. Your organization may give this menu a different name. Confirm that the connection page belongs to the intended business before changing settings.

4. Connect your number

Select the connection provided by your administrator. Open its QR code or pairing option. On your phone, open WhatsApp, go to Linked devices, choose Link a device, and follow the pairing instructions shown on screen. If a pairing code is offered, follow that option instead. Never send a QR code, pairing code, password or verification code to support or another person.

5. Confirm the connection

Wait until the integration reports that the number is connected. Check the displayed number before proceeding. If pairing expires, generate a new code from the connection page and try again. If the connection is unavailable or belongs to another team, stop and ask your administrator to verify access.

6. Validate one conversation

Use a consenting test contact rather than a customer campaign. Send a message from a second phone to the connected number and confirm that it appears in CRM conversations. To reply, select WhatsApp QR and the intended instance when the selector is available. Send one short reply and confirm delivery on the test phone. Check both directions before starting customer communications.

7. Prepare your team

Review the available assignment, signature, tag and notification settings with your administrator. Make sure each team member can access only the connections they need. Group tools and other optional features depend on the enabled configuration and service plan. Verify a small test before applying a setting to ongoing conversations.

8. Set up an automation

In a test workflow, select the messaging action you need, fill its required fields, choose the intended connection, and use a consenting test contact. Check the workflow execution result and confirm delivery. If your organization uses WhatsApp via SMS (Workflows), an administrator must first configure that provider and enable this feature for the account. The provider name does not mean that the message is delivered as a carrier SMS.

9. If something does not work

For a missing menu, check the selected business account, installation and user permissions. For a disconnected number, check Linked devices and reconnect from the integration when appropriate. For a missing or failed message, verify the recipient, connection, selected channel and workflow result. Avoid repeated sends or reinstalling the app as a first troubleshooting step. Record the time, timezone and visible error, then contact support.

10. Responsible use and limitations

Contact only recipients you are permitted to message and respect opt-out requests. This app uses device pairing; it is not the official WhatsApp Business Platform integration. WhatsApp and CRM availability, rules and account restrictions can affect operation and delivery. Bridgix is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta or WhatsApp.

11. Support, cancellation and privacy

Contact contact@bridgix.com.br for help, service cancellation or privacy requests. Include a concise description, time and timezone, and a screenshot with personal information hidden. Do not include customer conversations or credentials. Review the Support, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy links below. Uninstalling the CRM app does not by itself confirm cancellation of a separate external service agreement; request confirmation from support.
